About Us Alpha Beta Kappa is the premier national honor society for America's private postsecondary schools, institutes, colleges, universities, and distance learning institutions - serving many institutions for the past 32 years. Alpha Beta Kappa places Chapters in institutions which have demonstrated high standards over a period of many years in the education and training of women and men in the numerous fields, trades and occupations essential to modern society. There was no national society for private proprietary and nonprofit postsecondary institutions until the National Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society was officially established. It is the mark of distinction for an institution to be awarded a Chapter of Alpha Beta Kappa. That fact that an individual is elected to membership in this honor society sets her or him apart as an exemplar of personal integrity and excellence.
Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society Chapters Each year more and more outstanding students from junior colleges, senior colleges and student-centered private career schools receive Alpha Beta Kappa Honors. A Chapter of Alpha Beta Kappa will give your institution added distinction similar to Phi Beta Kappa for traditional four-year colleges of liberal arts. Membership will publicly demonstrate your commitment to institutional quality and student performance. Alpha Beta Kappa Chapters can be found in nearly every state in the nation. Some of the over 500 institutions that recognize their Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Students include:
Alpha Beta Kappa National Office Staff Christopher Davis, President
Jane Caven, Assistant to the President
Beth Ward, Membership Services
Catherine Guidoni, Accounting Administrator
Tim Pyron, Art, Design, and Novelties Assistant
